The Reduced Shakespeare Company brought laughs and learning together at Brookhaven College Jan. 23 in the Performance Hall with "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)." The three-man troupe consisted of Reed Martin, Matt Rippy and Austin Tichenor.
Dr. Darise Error, theater arts professor at Brookhaven College, said most successful thespians face audition rejection 70 percent of the time. Anyone, even a non-student, can audition for a part. However, the person needs to be enrolled so they can receive the two credit hours associated with their participation, Error said.
